Patti showed me this artist yesterday. She is one of the Top 50 Critical Mass 2010 winners. I am deeply moved by her work. Although this series is so similar to a project i am currently working on, I feel encouraged rather than discouraged by seeing this work. The fact that I didn’t know it existed is proof that projects like these aren’t working. They won’t work until everyone is familiar with these projects and this situation.
