It’s taken me a while to begin to digest how awesome this work is.  I honestly don’t want to say too much, especially to keep this post on-theme.  I think this series is incredibly powerful and unique.  There are a lot of things this work talks about, and I’m sure this was not so prevalent in her thought process, but of course it’s what I noticed first: the artist’s way of making the land and creatures of our planet “alien” is something I’ve never seen done this way before.
