I love the romance (and bit of humor) and simplicity of this series of pictures about a love story between humans and butterflies. People in this small group in the south of England feel very passionately about butterflies and moths; they don’t understand how some people enjoy catching them.
I also really appreciate the variation of image types–I tried to represent that here, but do visit the artist’s site to see more of what I’m talking about. A very nice group of quiet, reverent photographs. The one immediately below is just so perfectly beautiful.
