There may be an abundance of butterfly images here lately, and it’s probably because I’m seeing butterflies all over my world.  It’s wonderful to see a few flying above my head nearly every time I’m outside, and it feels like, on every walk I take, there are monarch wings and bodies scattered on the ground.  This probably won’t go on much longer now that September is over and fall is truly coming on.

Nadia Maria is a Brazilian photographer with more than a handful of interesting and beautiful series in her oeuvre.  I think the images in this small selection are just lovely.  I really like the color and darkness in her photos.
